Working at Weka Peckers, I’ve always been involved in recycling efforts, learning firsthand about the importance of waste separation and sustainable practices. Yet, completing the Resource Sorter course added a whole new layer to my understanding—it deepened my awareness and made me more mindful of the challenges we all face in striving for a waste-free future.

Before the course, I thought recycling was simply about sorting materials correctly. Now, I see it as part of a much larger system—one that requires thoughtful decision-making, conscious consumption, and a collective commitment to reducing waste at the source.
